Dr Allan Ornstein is a Professor of Education Administrative and Instructional Leadership at St. John’s University, U.S.A. He is a former Fulbright-Hayes Scholar and has been a consultant to more than 75 government and educational agencies, including the American Federation of Teachers, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the Chicago Board of Education, and New York City school districts.

Dr Ornstein is the author of more than 400 articles on education, including the following three papers published in the Journal of Aussie-Sino Studies:
