This study aims to understand the current status of knowledge and beliefs about ICU-acquired weakness (ICU-AW) among ICU nurses in secondary and above hospitals in the Jining area, and to analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide a theoretical basis for improving the current status of ICU nurses' ICU-AW knowledge and beliefs in the Jining area and for the subsequent development of ICU-AW training. This study surveyed 198 ICU nurses in Jining's secondary and above hospitals on ICU-acquired weakness (ICU-AW) knowledge, attitude and behavior. Their knowledge (25.84±8.20) and behavior (22.02±9.41) scores were low, while attitude (30.08±8.72) was high. Significant differences existed in knowledge scores among different education and titles, and in attitude scores among different ages, education and titles (P<0.05), suggesting the need for enhanced training to promote early prevention.
