This study employs structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the dual-path mechanism of artificial intelligence anxiety (AIA) on entrepreneurial intention among university students. Analyzing 358 Chinese undergraduates, key findings reveal:AIA has a marginally significant direct positive effect on entrepreneurial intention (β=0.115, p=0.052);Entrepreneurial mindset (EM) mediates negatively (effect size -0.055), indicating anxiety impairs cognitive agency;Entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) mediates positively (effect size 0.148), reflecting adaptive responses to anxiety;EM and ESE form a sequential mediation pathway (effect size 0.191), elucidating the complex impact of anxiety on intention. The results inform AI-integrated entrepreneurship education by identifying psychological intervention targets to transform technological anxiety into entrepreneurial motivation.
